I have 5 Saints, broken in Sparkle Opto, brand new Opto, new RGL, new GL, and an Air Opto, and they all fly pretty much the same give or take for level of wear.

Took my 171 gram GL Saint out to the course today after some practice and was very happy with the disc. The disc is definitely sensitive to nose angle but that can be a good thing if you're shaping different lines. It flies very straight for me now when thrown flat with a bit of hyzer and will anny quite well if needed. The disc seems to fit the bill as a control driver. I threw it back to back against my seasoned Star SL that weighs the same and noticed that the Saint has much more glide and can shape more lines. The SL seemed less refined but it's easier to throw. I'm feeling better about dropping the SL from my bag at some point.

I dont have any experience with the flow, but I do have a few other drivers such as the river, saint, and striker. I'm loving what I can do with these discs when I get it right.

I don't think they are overstable either. I have both a saint and striker in similar weights and both opto, and the striker seems to be more overstable one of the group, even though they both have similar ratings according to the lat 64 website( Saint has 9,7,-1,2, and the striker has 9,5,-1,2). I had a similar flight pattern with my striker that I did with my champ teebird that was lighter, but the striker didnt seem to hold up as well to headwinds.

I think Lat bases their flight ratings off of 100m (~330ft) throws. The old Striker rating was either 0,2 or -1,1. I remember when the Vision was rated -3,1 but they have monkeyed with the molds and now they have three discs covering the same basic disc segment, control driver -1,2. kinda makes me sad.

Yeah, they need to make a fairway/control driver that is has more stability than a river, but less than a XxX. Or something with a little more stability/fade than a striker. I like my striker, but I wish it had a bit more fade. My striker does seem flat, so maybe if I got a more domey one it would have the fade I want.

YES. YES. YES.

I've been throwing my Saint for awhile now and just yesterday tried to put it on an anny line on a tough hole. It's a throw I'll usually use my Avenger SS for, but figured, "what the hell, why not?", put the nose down and let her rip.

It held the line beautifully and I easily birdied a hole I had always struggled with prior.

Great all around disc.

i just lost my 168 gl saint but it was pretty stable for my noodle arm
however i also have a 156 opto air saint and it is a lot less stable (might be bad form)
new 169 opto saint on the way
hoping it will be a little more stable than my old gl was
because i am trying to pair these with some visions
but we have overlap
