Bummer, I was planning on hitting Sugaree on my next trip to the mountains in a few weeks. I'll send you a PM in late August (trip to Cherokee) to see if it is back available then.

Oh no... that's only a week away.

I'm sorry to hear this Rich. You're the man though.

Rich...
Ya know... the WNC DIsc Golf Association has a huge membership of very active people. We could easily have 20-30 guys up there for a weekend of camping and cleaning. We did it for Elk Mountain a few weeks back.

Let us know if your interested in that offering. I'm sure some of these other interested folks would be willing to come too and we could clean up quite a bit relatively quickly... or at least make things way more manageable for the rest of the year.

Let me know what you think. You have my number... (I have your number too... but wanted to make our club's offer public so other clubs might do the same).

Your Pal,
Jason / DSCJNKY

Can't say my club would be interested but I have PM'ed Rich with a similar offer. I could definitely round up a little group and coordinate a date with WNC. But that's up to Rich.

We are small but I could probably get the Pittsboro/Rock Ridge crew up for a weekend. We could have that place looking like the Gardens at Versailles by the big wedding day.

Sad to hear Sugaree is going away. I was lucky enough to play there with Rich and Burt four years ago and drink a beer with them on the twelth hole. Playing such a unique course in such a unique setting is one of my favorite disc golf memories.

Congrats on the wedding and best of luck to you and yours Rich.

Would be wonderful if you can take advantage of these offerings Rich and make this course a kind of huge community project. Thanks for all the effort!
