I have a 173g GL Fury it it has a fair amount of turn but I can still manage it in the confines of a tighter fairway. With a slight hyzer release and 80% power I can get it to stand up, turn just a bit, and then a very slight fade at the end. Great glide too!

i must be getting weird lat 64 discs lately, then. nobody here seems be turn this disc as much as it does for me.

there's this hole at one of my favorite parks, hole 10 at oakwood here in minnesota.

it's 200 feet long; a bit of an upshot and a protected tee on the right surrounded by trees. forehand flick (i'm lefthand forehand for some stupid reason) or backhand with some hyzer, either or, and it floats upright, then turns behind the trees and lands right by the basket.

don't get me wrong; it's great for those shots, but . . . 200 feet? really? i throw my fuse straight for 300.

GL was less stable for me, but both can hold the same lines.

I prefer the opto for controlled anhyzers, finesse straight drives, and rollers.

I care about pure distance. That's what I'm looking for. I might go with both of them as my primary driver but I'm still not 100% sure which one to get.

I have a 167g Red OPTO Fury. It flies very similar lines to my newish (<5 rounds) 166g Yellow GL Saint....

My 166g Yellow GL Fury is definitely more understable than the OPTO. It will hold a nice anhyzer line to the ground.
