Here's the link to Disc Wing's Research if anyone has oodles of time to kill.
I agree, you're totally right. But if you've got the patience you can really learn a lot. I'm a natural at breaking things down into terms a layperson can understand and now I feel like when I get a question from a newer player like "How do I get a disc to turn over?" or "Why does the disc turn over?" I can give them a response that not only tells them how they need to throw it to get it to fly like they want, but I can tell them WHY they need to throw it that way.

I feel like being able to explain in laymans terms the way the air is working underneath the disc I can give them a base that allows them to experiment on their own with their form and get desired results without the need for me standing over them telling them what needs changed. If you know what is causing the disc to turn over too fast on you or fade too early, you know where you need to make adjustments.
