But what if a portion of that income is tied to a sponsor who's adamant about you using only their equipment?

Thanks for the bio, but the question was about the Prodigy players. So, my point was, that a) they own the company, so they can probably start throwing Prod. only bags whenever they feel it's the best time to do so and b) why would they pressure themselves to switch before they feel comfortable with the full lineup?

They do throw Prodigy though. All of them. Not all their molds are Prodigy but they do toss a few molds at tournaments. You just have to get used to throwing new discs. How bad would it look on the brand if Team Prodigy switched completely to a Prodigy bag and did terrible at every tournament? People would think bad of their discs. I have no problem with them starting fresh in 2014.

"Is that an aviar?" (which it clearly was). "Yeah but dont tell anybody!" It was shortly after the putters came out so I don't blame him.
I saw Double-G doing this too. He pulled out the old red Sonic for a shot or two! I'm sure it would be difficult to not throw something that you still had complete confidence in. But you could tell that he wanted to use only Prodigy & felt bad about having to fall back on some of his other stuff. While playing in his group I saw him prmarily throwing Prodigy plastic! I think he is a good pick for the team & an excellent spokesman for the company!
Feel bad or make the shot in a high level tourney? You choose!
