While we're on the subject, I sold my 1st run Amp because it was too overstable for me. I kept the FR Shock because it has some turn, but it still fades hard at 330ft. The Volt is great, little to no turn and a nice forward fade. I'd love to try a 2nd run Amp if I thought it would turn like the FR Shock but finish straighter. Thoughts, and where could I, for sure, order a 2nd run Amp?

I haven't seen any FR Amps that flew OS in person besides the white tester I got. Every other one I've seen thrown or thrown has been what they were supposed to be. I think you'd be safe ordering from any popular dg store that moves through their stock at a decent pace.

Proton volts are flying more stable than i wanted, i can hit the same lines with my seasoned shock and so i took them out of the bag. Instead i put in a brand new N-Volt light blue from the latest runs and its flying with less overlap next to my shock.

Anyone else find the proton volt a little too beefy on the LSS?

It also never comes out of my hand well, comes off early a lot and sometimes too high of an angle. Not having this problem with the Neutron.

I am liking my volts with a bit more dome then the current ones. Seems like when the proton volts came out that even the neutrons have been similarly flat.

Saying that though, I still like them just different shot selection discs.

I think whatever 1.7cm disc they come out with in the Volt-stability range is going to be a much better disc for all the dudes who find the Volt fading too hard on them. I'm glad to see them "back-filling" their lineup before attempting something faster.

I might even check out a P. Volt if I ever lose all my 1.1 OLFs.

It doesn't fade too hard for me, it just overlaps with what my seasoned shock does just fine for me.. no reason to have overlap and cary more weight onto the course.

You may be heading the wrong way trying to find an Amp that will behave like a Shock, have you considered trying another Volt in a different plastic/ weight? I dig my 170 Volt a lot more than my Amp, it's much less stable than my 175 Volt.

I just had the experience today of playing against strong headwinds and my neutron volt eating it hard. Forehand it was still working well but my back hand could just not adjust to it, is it time I got a Proton volt as well? Also curious how well they work for forehand throws
