My 10 year old students were throwing about 150ft after a few hours of play. I would definitely change the course pars or use shorter tees if you are using Stafford for middle school students. I can advertise for you at my school if you would like, although I don't know if any will get involved. Maybe you should hit up the local boyscout troops to recruit players.

My son played with Anthony Barela at AM Worlds - he threw 510' in the distance competition and can get it out farther - we had crazy wind that day. My boy just turned 13 last month and has ripped a few rare ones out 375-400' but normally he's around 300-350'

I was thinking for the first league try it out at 10 and under kids tees. Straight shot on 1 near the log on 2, left side of hills on 3 slight dogleg left on 4 straight 200 on 5 just in front of the woods on the left for six, 7 where the drop zone is, 8 by the group of trees, 9 in front of short tee. 13 and under would play shorts, 16 and under would play longs. Kids tees would all be about 150-275. This would take place at stafford woods

My 7yr old daughter has maxed out at 126ft so far(she actually likes throwing rollers more, but those obviously don't fit here). My 11yr old boy threw 320' forehand and 280' backhand, but injured his right arm over the summer. He has taught him self to throw left handed and throws 280' backhand now.

Once he goes back to right handed, I'm screwed. He is way better than me 20' and in.
