Little Egypt is really great, but it's all heavily wooded, all the time.

Stonebridge Church rocks. I like it about as much as McDade. McDade's practice basket and parking gives it the edge.

I'm not a fan of golf balls flying my way... thus the distaste for Spring Valley. Nice pro shop though.

Shawshank is Shawshank. Very fun, but way too tricked up.

Winnwood Presbyterian is a lot of fun. Some of the old guys in my group had some trouble with the carry overs. I liked it a lot.

All of them, including Spring Valley are worth traveling out of your way for. North Houston is blessed with great courses.
There were guys older than you in your group? lol

Yep. Seven old guys on a three day disc golfing trip. Only five of us went to Selah Ranch last year. It was great! The golf carts make ALL the difference when you play all weekend.

A couple of guys have lost some arm strength. The longer courses get less fun as the years go by.

He went this year. You should've come too. JB's brother lives down there and he played with us too.

Selah is a huge walk. Many times it's longer between the basket and the next short tee than it is playing the hole.

Just spent the weekend there at the Corral House. Incredible courses and lodging. Can't wait to do it again next year!

Thanks! Hoping to make a trip down in March with my brother. We'll be driving in from New Orleans. Trying to make it as cheap as possible.

I heard you were paying for the food and any discs that your brother throws in the water. Is that true?
