One hole on my local course is a hard dogleg right. I always throw a thumber because my annys suck and usually don't make the turn. My thumber will come right around this tree and usually roll and end up about 30 ft. from the basket. Today it did not. I heard a loud smack which didn't sound like your usual disc hitting a tree sound. Very strange sound. It was wedged tight about 9 ft. up. It was a SOB to get out!

My friend makes custom wood discs, apparently Ricky Wysocki had a little too much power for this one.

No. He's a crazy good woodworker, and it was just another chance to show off his work. Ricky was so impressed that he is having him make a wood D1. If anyone else wants wood discs here's his FB page - CGT Woodwoorking. Make sure to let him know that I sent you.

my home course

This is one of the places we tee off from at my farm.
I currently only have one basket in the front yard. Hoping to fix that.
