I've seen discs made out of Wood, Kevlar, Aluminum, Steel, Plastic, etc. I've yet to see one out of stone. I'm intrigued by this idea...

And yeah, the last line is the best.

Where did you see these? I'd be really curious to get my hands on a metal golf disc.

And I agree, the sound of a stone golf disc is intriguing. I picture a couple cavemen throwing towards the wooly mammoth across the tundra.
