Media Publications and Disc Sports Explosions

I'm curious - can anyone point out any articles in major media publications referencing disc golf or any disc sport and the possibility of "breaking out"? There was one recently on Ulty in HuffPo and a friend said it was the first time he'd heard something like that. I'd like to show him some other older ones. I've read many, but am having a hell of a time finding any other than the 2009ish ESPN article on Page2 about the Vibram and the NT.

Hoping for someone to respond. I found some nice ones in the SI.com archives when I took the time out to go through there. Looking for, specifically, some periodicals that are print media and older than what we'd typically find online. I know some of you hoarders have this stuff!

I dont have any idea if she wrote anything like what youre looking for, but KC Dermody used to write for yahoo and she pretty much split her time writing about the Raiders and Disc Golf, maybe google her and look for past blurbs or articles

I think it would be beneficial for the PDGA to run an article in the Delta or US Airways Magazines around spring or summer when people are flying more for vacation. Nothing is more boring than sitting on a plane that is not in the air and although many people have ipads, many people will still read the magazines and the articles are very good nowadays.

A no name author turning the results pages of B-tier PDGA events into paragraph form on a content farm website isn't exactly journalism, much less good journalism. I'm kind of glad that search engines took countermeasures against awful sites like that.

Nonetheless, I still have the "-Dermody" tag in my disc golf news search. I suppose its not really needed anymore.
