did you lose much color with elmers,or had the dye have a long time to cure?

The dye had set for a couple days. Even still, Elmer's does pull a bit of the dye out, but not much. Basically you get a "ghost" of whatever you masked, when you pull off the glue. I did this with my Rolling Stones logo disc, and the red lips look no less saturated than before, so it's not that big of a worry. Both dyes have been on the discs for 6+ months, and both have been used plenty. One is Pro, one is Champion, and neither seem to have lost much color as a result of the Elmer's mask.

Just be sure to let the glue dry -- you'll know it's done when it's completely transparent.
