It's very similar to a VooDoo except the inner rim is a more sloped, concave feeling. You really have to curl those fingers under there and slant them to get it comfy into the meat of your palm.
Looks like you've got some funky, funky ties, BroDave!

If you use a Comet than you've already got the right idea. Good luck. Go get a virgin disc ace.

You should actually throw one before forming an opinion. Just my opinion.

The Ion is creeping closer and closer to being my favorite disc...It is the most versatile mold in my bag and gets thrown more than anything else by far. I have hit so many long shots (especially forehand) with it it is ridiculous, and I've also hit the basket multiple times off the tee (but no ace yet).

I absolutely love my Ion. Great disc. Just feels good, throws nice, and hits chains well.

OK, my first impression is that it's a slightly longer, more glidey (is glidey a word?) VooDoo. I threw it 5 or 6 times today, and so far, I like it.

That's exactly what it is...and it has a bit more fade that makes it more predictable.

I agree. I love it.

Are the firmer ones out yet?

I had a dream that I was throwing an Ion last night. I wonder what that means.
