in my bag...suggestions welcome
here is what's in my bag. I listed them from what I use most to least
Drivers Discraft Crush-doesn't say the weight, i'm guessing 170g or so Innova Groove-Champion-168g Innova Xcaliber-Star-175g Discraft Flick-elite Z-170g Innova Beast-Champion-171g Aerobie Epic-no wieght, pretty heavy i think Mids Innova KC Pro Roc-178g Gateway Element X-180g Putter Innova Aero-Star-180g I throw almost exclusively Forehand, but am working on my backhand (looking to pick up and Orc for that) I throw drivers 300'-350' on a good day. Mids and putter around 200' I would say that I play 90% of holes with only the crush, roc and aero. |

since you are primarily a FH player I'm not sure what good a Groove will do you. but you don't really throw that far so maybe it does something for you. but you do say that you primarily use the Crush/Roc/Aero combo. the Crush is a great FH disc. the XCal and the Flick may overlap with the Crush as well as with each other.
I also think you don't need the Element-x. It's OOP if I'm thinking right and it doesn't do anything that a KC Roc can't. you may also want to try a Dart. It's basically a smaller diameter Aero. It gets a lot of love. an Orc will not help you with your backhand. You need to look into a Comet and either a Cyclone, Gazelle, XL, Leopard or Cheetah. the latter five discs listed are slower drivers and are not hog stable. the Comet will help you the most with your BH and then the slow drivers will help you get the mileage you need.

I just bought a DX 170g Aviar with a gift card. I'm thinking it might be a bit better than the Aero for putting on a hyzer and in wind.

here is my bag as of now. I'm throwing FH 350' tops and up to 250' BH. I know I probably shouldn't throw the beast.
Drivers i've kinda color coded it as follows Forehand disc overhand disc backhand disc Discraft Crush-doesn't say the weight, i'm guessing 170g or so Innova Groove-Champion-168g Innova Xcaliber-Star-175g Discraft Flick-elite Z-170g Innova Beast-Champion-171g Aerobie Epic-no wieght, pretty heavy i think Mids Innova KC Pro Roc-178g Gateway Element X-180g both pretty much throw the same. Dunno why I have both Putter Innova Aviar-DX-170g my main putter. Innova Aero-Star-180g never use it. I'm looking to buy some plastic in the next couple days. I'm considering either leopard, gazelle or cheetah. and either buzzz or comet. thoughts?

You mentioned that you might buy some plastic that could consist of either a Leopard or Buzzz, then I would say get those two. The Leopard is a great fairway disc that is easy to learn and fun to throw at 75% power. I think you said your Aviar is new, then you need to learn that disc as well, not just for putting but also for all kinds of approach shots in the 200 foot range.
