2nd the Champ Coyote, heavier weights recommended if in windy areas. A great approach disc that can easily hold any line you put it on. Also check out a Roc, or a Buzzz, both are solid discs.

Maybe you could get a Warrior or two to compliment the Element.

I don't understand all the hate on the dart. It has always been good to me.
I will definitely pick up a warrior. It looks like my kind of disc. |

I sorted through my bag yesterday trying to simplify by removing somewhat redundant molds. I removed the Groove, Speed Demon, and Monster. So now I'm down to two Bosses, Monarch, Spirit, and Apache for my distance drivers. I keep the Eagle in my back for shorter holes and other various shots. I have a Warrior and Blaze on the way. Despite being a 7 speed, I have found the Blaze to be a good driver/midrange disc due to its fairly thick edge. I'm also pondering picking up a Roc and a Vibram Xp to experiment with. |

How's your fairway driver distance compare to distance driver distance? Typically Bosses, for example, work better when thrown for 400'-450' based on what I've seen (Not a Boss thrower). For 300' of distance Gazelles, Leopards, Stalkers and Cyclones are better suited.

A Leopard is always a welcome addition to any bag. Great fairway driver that is useful over 300 feet. Has a nice glide that lasts forever and is generally striaght(stable) to understable in nature. Definately add some midranges i.e Buzzz or Meteor and use your putters to get close to the pin from 200 feet on in.

I have tried throwing a Leopard before and it was too understable. Sometimes even my Eagle will turn over and hold a straight line without hardly any fade. I can throw it about 300'+/-. That is currently my only fairway driver until I receive my Blaze, Teebird and Warrior that I ordered.

Sounds like you either threw a beat up dx leopard or your form has some OAT. I can throw my leopards for 380' and they'll still fade hard left at the end of the throw.
