Be careful on which videos you watch on youtube. Some of them are jacked up and will teach you the wrong way. Watch the ones done by discraft on their website(or youtube).
There are plenty of good technique videos posted by people other than Discraft like Dan Beato's or Bradley Walker's snap video.

We had a quick little thunerstorm here in my area. Thankfully it didn't last long but it made J-Street very soggy and muddy.

True, my post was more of a warning about being careful of what he watched. I didn't have any specific in mind other than the discraft series.

Is Bradley Walker the one with the guy with the sunglasses on and then the UPS truck comes down the street? (I obviously remember the really important stuff ) Anyway, I think I'm going to give that one another look as I have started feeling what he is describing with using a leverage pt at the thumb/index finger and using weight/momentum of the disc from the opposite side to generate more snap. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGGYsSUGKXk

I'll be out at Zebulon early Saturday morning. Tolbert (coming down from Delaware), Sonny, Frank D, and about 50 others will be arriving before 6:00 a.m. and teeing off at 6:30. Oh yeah, we'll also be playing 7 other courses on Saturday for the 12th Annual Great 8! With the new "all Triangle" venue there are lots of new records to be set!

If anyone is going to be in Charlotte for Saturday August the 14th, I am having a meetup at Reedy Creek at 10:30am. Then we will move it on to Kilborne, and then Sugaw. Get ahold of me for more info on that.
