1st Saran and Dual Stage Dye for me

hello all. here is my attempt at the saran wrap method. more importantly, pictures that i could not find so i made.

1) picked my disc. (Aviar DX 171Putter) cleaned stamp.
chose this disc because it is not my main putter, but one just like it. and i have it just for putting practice.
2) started the process. took my 10 inch pie pan, and started filling it with saran wrap balls. i used about a 12-15 inch long pull for each saran ball.
3) mixed up my dye and spooned it onto the saran balls.
now word of note, everything i read said that most people used to much dye, so i held back. i ended up not using enough and had to go back and to this again with more dye the 2nd go round and had better results. understand you can always add more, but you cannot remove what you put on. i used red and black the 1st time, and just red the 2nd.
4) put the disc in the pan, add some weight to push the disc down into the saran wrap. the 1st time i used a soda, the 2nd time a frying pan.
5) wait- this may be the hardest part. i did 16 hours the 1st time, and 12 hours the 2nd.
6) remove and rinse
7) smile. even if the dye was not the shade/density/funkiness you wanted, you learned something today!!!

Now the 2nd part. i did not really have a stencil for this, and the only thing that kept popping into the noggin was 'throw for show, putt for dough.' so there it was. printed it, cut it, dipped it in black, really happy.

thoughts an comments welcome. i really just wanted to do this to see if i could follow directions, and just for the experience. it was fun, and that is where #7 above comes in.
