Dying Vibram "Plastic"

I'm planning to find a white Vibram Summit (if anyone has one for sale, please let me know!) with the intent of dying an image onto it.

I've seen a couple Vibrams with dye on them. For anyone who has ever done it, do you have any tips?
Does the dye need some extra time to penetrate the rubber?
Does it bleed badly?
Does liquid or
Does contact paper stick okay?

Thanks!

I dyed a tan firm proto with baseball seams about a month ago ( I'll get a pic up later) and it did just fine. It bled near the edge of the disc where I wasn't very careful but I've been very happy with it. I also have a regular x link summit that is white with the granite specs. Slightly used so it's a little dirty but it's in great shape. I'll send you some pics if you're intersted.

Here is the dye that I did on a firm proto after a month or two. Still not fading as of yet and it didn't leave any residue using contact paper.

Thanks, it gets too dark in my room to take decent pics and the bathroom has the best lighting. I don't really care either about the vibram rant either, I like them and that's just what works for me. The lower profile on the summit just fits my hand better than anything else I've tried and I putt the most consistent with them.

not getting into a debate on this one, preference is preference. However I am curious as to what the dye life on vibrams has been before going blurry. From what I understand not so good...
