2x's over 330

Ok guys had to start throwing lefty last summer and iam getting alittle better , but my drives really are in the 250's with a 280-300 once in awhile......so i was playing with these two guys today at simms, both can throw really good . They both said i have really good snap it seems i need to get the disc closer to my body. well my driving disc are : esp avenger ss " straight line mostly" , star teebird " straight line windy days", esp surge turns heavy right and my glide turns heavy left............well these guys showed me a few things that i had no idea " havent tried yet", they said i have a good snap and my disc comes out flat.....but today i was pulling my disc left today, almost like i was releasing late so one of the guys told me to try this disc it was a champion wraith 171 "broken in".1ST time i threw it , it went around 335 , the next hole i threw it probably around 355!!! so with me being a lefty " i should say trying to be a lefty" iam i buying the wrong disc? help!!!!!!!!!!

it has nothing to do with you throwing lefty. the wraith is faster than everything else you are throwing, that's why it went further.

It's strange when you come to the realization that it's time to step up to faster stuff. I was throwing my Avengers around 350', and got hold of a Vulcan and tossed that thing 380', so went and got my Katana out and pushed that out to 420'. Blew my own mind. Started playing with faster drivers and settled in on the Wraith. I can hit 380' consistently with it, and get the occasional 400' throw. I can get 400' easily with a Katana, but they don't always go where I want them. Wraiths are amazing ...

Am I the only one that thought this was going to be about some really old, collectible, discs selling for $330?

This really tempts me to try another distance driver but what seems to happen is I have a great throw once and then favor that disc as I go all over the place. Then next thing you know, I start throwing shorter and shorter again.

I think I just want to wait until I see my Leopard get out to 320'+ on the regular rather than just my best drives this time. Then I will see what my Teebirds are doing.
