The hatred for the flight ratings hot stamp is so great nobody noticed.

I'm no n00b, but I write flight #'s on the inside rim. I dont use the numbers to judge my throw/disc selection, actually, I dont know why I do it.
As for the numbers being on the stamp, I dont care. Why would you? Do you look at someone elses disc and think to yourself "boy! that would be a real cool disc if it wasnt for those four numbers!" I dont even care what other peoples discs look like, much less a dye job or stamp. |

ive been doing this more and more, except for the dye part. i just remove the stamp. that way when someone asks me what im throwing i can say 'my red one.' and then get that puzzled look from them. haha
i LOVE bar stamps!

Three thoughts: The numbers getting stamped on the disc are a KILLER idea for people getting into the sport that have thrown a disc or two. They help you from having to know tons and tons of information. And they beat the pants off of Discrafts "dummy decimal" ratings they give their discs. HUGE selling point
Second thought- The #'s on the disc look SO much cleaner than when people write them on the back of the disc themselves. Three: I actually wish they'd do a second stamping on all their discs, with the PLH rating on it, so I don't have to pop and eyeball trying to figure out which Teebird is going to fly like a Teebird.

I don't know what the problem is gents, I think the flight ratings are crucial for me when I try to determine if I should throw my vulcan vs. ape on a wide open 150'
