Indianapolis

Passing through and have time for one round. Would you play Brookside or Washington Park or something else.

Washington and Brookside are both fun courses. Played Washington twice today after work. Between the two, I'd say Brookside is the more difficult, but harder to navigate. The baskets are aging, though.

If I had to suggest one course though, I'd suggest playing the Hill at Northview Church from the back tees. The property is well maintained, the course is fun, there's low likelihood of losing a disc, and much lower likelihood of having your car broken into when you're out of sight. Also the baskets are much better, but only tee pads on a few holes right now.

Rockville lake? Really? When I was there about 6 weeks ago 80% of that course was unplayable. It's nowhere near done.....most of the holes don't have any lines and a few holes on the back 9 are down in a creek bed lol. There were multiple holes that had branches top to bottom as far as the eye could see. No high lines low lines....nothing. It shouldn't even be open for play right now.

I decided to play George Washington Park. It was a fun play. I got there at 7am and didn't want to necessarily have to throw max distance that early in the morning. Plus I was really looking for a fun course and that's what most descriptions indicated about it.

if rockville lake is unplayable then the park attendant must be on vacation or something, maybe that speaks more to the suckage that is indy disc golf then anything else, dont get me wrong, there are some fun plays in indy but rockville lake is better than anything in indy proper...
