DD2 love?

My go to max distance disc is the 165ish Blizzard C Line pop top DD2. Has to be pop top not the tupperware lid 150's.

Does anyone else throw these? Maybe I've lost my mind but I'm usually pretty good at judging discs.

I was throwing a 150g Blizz DD2 for a little while, basically just at a field. Very long, but it was too flippy for me. Even with hyzer flip it would still turn over too much and track right...in calm conditions. Reminded me of the Air Bolt, but a little more controllable.

I throw a C-line DD2 for distance sidearm shots. Have never tried a blizzard one though.

Before Blizzard I threw a 165g P-line DD-2. Nicely worn it was my longest disc. I was excited when they came out with Blizzard. First Blizzard was 150g, very flippy. Next was 156g Blizzard. Was similar to worn P-line, but no consistency. I currently have a 160g Blizzard that I use for long distance with predictable fade at the end. Still scratching my head on that. Blizzard and worn P-line fly similar at same weight..... Not like the Katana. Blizzard 150g flies identical to worn 169g Pro.

Have you compared the domes of the 3 Blizzard DD2's you have? My orange 150g was pretty flat topped.

They all seem to have the same dome as the P-line I used to throw. But I am not the greatest judge.

Does anybody else notice the Blizzard discs get chewed up faster than non Blizzard discs. I have stopped throwing them in wooded or rocky courses.

Yes, the edge of wing gets chewed up pretty easily. At about the same rate as Innova Pro plastic, IMO.

Yes, it has to be the heavier ones 164+. They are noticeably pop topped. They look like the overstable poppy *ds Destoyers across the dome. The 150ish DD2's are very flippy and totally different discs.

I throw very flat, pans a little right and not to much fade. I like a disc that doesn't cover to much right then left for distance.

Also, the one's I throw are pretty clear in the flight plate and not many bubbles at the surface of rim. The 150's have lot's of surface bulbles on the rim.
