I got a set at the beginning of summer with the strap that goes across the chest for when I rode my bike to the course. 2nd or 3rd time using them, the one end of that strap across the chest came un-stitched, mid ride.

Hated them anyway.

I bought a new pair of Quads from Discgolfcenter.com at the beginning of August. Before I even hit 15 rounds, the stitching broke loose on one of the elastic shocks.

I contacted DGC about the issue, and they told me to contact Phenix directly. I left a few voicemails with Phenix (never answered phone) and didn't hear back from them after a few days. I was able to get in contact with them through email however. I sent them some pics and a copy of my receipt from DGC and they said they would send me out a new pair. It's been over a week since then so hopefully I will see them soon.

I was surprised to see that the new pair broke so quickly. My old pair held up strong for over 4 years before shocks blew out and the padding wore thin. Hopefully the replacement pair will hold up a little better.

Good news: Phenix just emailed me confirming that they have shipped a replacement pair of shocks.

Phenix went through a short money saving phase where the quality went down. They had the stitching pop on a bunch of their quads and have since gone back to the old style of stitching. You can still get bad ones if they've been on those shelves for a while, tho.
