Well, not really anything interesting in today's round. I had a couple bad approaches and saved them with long putts...shot a -2, which frankly, I feel isn't very good at the course I was at. I was gonna play a second round, but I decided to save it for tomorrow morning and our league game.

My putting has really been on the up and up, but my drives seem to be lacking...always something to work on. Played a Series game and went O.B. three holes in a row. Had a huge 70' recovery putt to keep the ship from sinking. Putts kept me competitive, but my drives kept me from cashing. Maybe next week!

Isn't that the truth! Always something that could have been better. Good luck putting it together. As far as the mental aspect goes. I usually feel much better about a shaky driving round made ok with putting versus a great driving round brought down by putting.

Good putting wins over being able to bomb any day in my book. My putting and approach game has come a long way and its definitely better than being able to bomb everything. Glad your getting confidence back in putting!

Yeah, I know. If it was a true Starfire it would overlap with my PD pretty hard. Thanks for looking out, though!

I got out for three 9 hole rounds yesterday. The first round felt like a disaster. No driving accuracy, no putting. I felt very disconnected and awkward. Halfway through the second round I keyed on what was tweaking all my putts and I started banging long shots again. By the third round I was confident and loose and it translated into nicer drives and smooth putting. It feels so good to warm up and then impress yourself!

Damn! It seems like I haven't really been able to bring my A game (or even b-) to any of three series games so far. Next week is halfway, and I'd really like to crack the top 3 before it's over! My putting has been really solid, but I haven't been driving very well. I'm hoping that it's just like a sour honeymoon with my disc choices. I'm gonna try to put in more practice this week (hardly practiced after last Saturday) and maybe it'll show up in the results...

I've been sneaking in a couple rounds over the last week. My putting continues to be solid, but my driving continues to let me down. Tomorrow morning i the next series game, so I hope I'm feeling better about it by then!

I ended up tying for second last week on a course I didn't even know! Pretty sweet. I missed a couple easy putts early, but settled down and played pretty well after that.
