Ok cool, I think I'm going to stay away from the Icon then.. I love my Anode for straight upshots and drives, I use my Zone for the same into the wind.

Is this really the case? The Gravity Ghost I have isn't as firm as my Protege Clutches, but it's still fairly firm. Regardless, I loved it today!

It's buttery tacky goodness. Protege was way too stiff and not the grip I wanted, excel had a somewhat cheap feel, liked the grip not the rigidity. Gravity was just right, firm, springy, perfect texture. Bad side it creased after one tree hit off the tee.

I have been curious to try some of these out. I am throwing KC avairs in various stages of wear and like to keep my molds to minimum. Can anyone compare the clozer to a avair??

Definitely shallower, not as thick rim is the aviar.

Been awhile so I can't really recall the flight not have I paid much attention to others. Off the top of my head id say it is less stable, not by much, but still drivable. More forward fade from what I remember.

Well I picked up a Excel Clozer today, and I absolutely love this thing. It didn't really seem much more stable than my Pures, and it has a bead which I love. It's also not larger diameter like a Pure either. I think I'm really going to like this thing. I also got a Icon Clutch today too, and that thing is STRAIGHT. I'm really digging Legacy's plastic right now.

No kidding about the clutch. It is the straightest thing I've seen. You can put it on any release angle, and it holds it. It has extremely, neutral stability.
