It's probably gonna sound contradictory but to get more distance from your high speed discs, practice driving with your slowest(i.e. putters).

The nuke should definitely have an S curve pattern, when i first started the nuke went right extremely for me. Now if i throw it (it isn't beat at all because i never put it in my bag for very long) it will flip up , turn , and fade

try a surge, surge ss, or nuke ss, they will not be as big of a meat hook for you, I throw my nukes once they beat in with hyzer and they flip up and go straight. If you're throwing a z try throwing an esp if you want to stay with the nuke

I've just recently started to put higher speed discs in my bag and just this week really learned how to throw loooong anhyzer shots. It's all about getting the right amount of anhyzer for the disc so that it turns until it hits it's apex and then fades back forward.

I can hit 350 to almost 400 with this shot. I use a blizzard Boss.

Someone mentioned the Smooth is fast line but I want to explain what is really meant by smooth. Smooth is keeping the disc on the same plane and increasing the acceleration at the right time with your follow through following the same place.

This way you'll get the fastest acceleration and the least resistance and thus the best distance.

I can hit 300 ft with my Avenger SS. Typically I only use the Nuke to meathook it, but I just knew there was more to it. Maybe I'll stick to my Avenger SS and Valkyrie.

I would say this is the answer, maybe even shelf you avenger until you can hit 350 with your valk. Then when you pull that avenger back out you'll be real happy.
