Shingles are no fun man. I had them when I was 26. Still have back pain to this day because of them.

Take a rest man. The course will be there when you get better.

after the advice from this thread I only played 1 1/2 rounds yesterday. Those inch worms made it unbearable. I still feel them on me. Walking down fairways was like walking through spiderwebs in Skyrim.

Way to cut back. If you find yourself feeling like returning the favor today, feel free to pass on some of your top life lessons. I've always heard that after a certain age we should never trust a fart and not waste a b#$%r. Dunno... I may have just got that from Al Bundy.

Just got back from the doctor. I got shingles again. In a different spot. So don't take my advice.

I had shingles on certain area of my body. They didn't bother me much.....but the puncture wounds from the nails were annoying. So don't take my advice.

Hope the buggers clear up, Chris & Scott!

I had shingles three years ago, when I was 29. They are absolutely brutal, but I only had a small breakout on my torso, some people get it on their head/face!

My advice is rest. Physically and mentally. At first I brushed off stress as being a potential cause for shingles (as you will read in the medical literature). Holy crap was I not listening to my body.

Get well Chris, and sorry about your Grandfather's experience... Epic story nonetheless, thanks for sharing it.
