All these fellas throwing mids... Makes me curious. If it's an open straight shot, I can reach 300' with a mid, but I've gotta power it up damn near max. In my mind, isn't easier to throw a controlled shot with a stable fairway? Am I in the minority here?

Not in the minority, the majority chose fairways - 13/18. A few were split depending on wind. I would throw a QJ.
