Glad you had a good time!

The par is set on with each tee color corresponding to the PDGA rating, and has been validated pretty well through many tournaments. The blue tees are designed around the skill of a 950-rated player, and there shouldn't be too much of a gray area. Gold is 1000-rated.

I win! with my suggestion and reason. Hopefully I am not called a question bagger, and have to move up to answering tougher questions.
