This is the greatest thread ever!!

This is Vida. She is my twin brother's Australian Cattle Dog and she is the cornerstone of our disc golfing outfit. She finds our discs if we lose them. Just yesterday I was looking for my Saint in some tall grass and weeds and I happened to be right by it when I saw her fish it out next to me! She's not even bred for sniffing things out but she somehow always finds our discs and brings them out of the muck.

She also loves to chase discs and bring them back to us. This is great for field throwing but can be annoying on the course. Although she's gotten better at staying at the tee instead of chasing our drives. She also is great at catching discs! We have some doggy discs for her and she makes some great catches.

I had to hold my FLX Challenger up to get her to sit still and look at me for these photos. She seems to really like that disc, or any disc I am holding for that matter. It's funny because she doesn't do that with my brother so much

It has been a work in progress with my 7 month old Hans but now have gotten him to settle down a bunch and not need the leash anymore. He has went into the schule at Hansen near my house and helped finding a few discs for some of my friends. He just sits next to them for the most part.

Hayes.jpg

Not mine but one of the best dg dogs around. He's a labradoodle named Hayes. He caddies and retrieves discs from the basket.

Nimbus is a year old now. Hasn't really changed much. Still a badass. Still crazy. Still doesn't chase discs. I posted a pic of him as a pup a year ago and thought I'd revive this awesome thread.

I rescued a dog last week. She is 2 years old and still a little jumpy meeting new people and dogs. We now have 3 rounds together and she has learned that going to the course means seeing squirrels so she loves when I take my bag out. As a Futurama fan I named her Leela. She has more rounds ahead of her than she could ever imagine.

About a month ago my wife and I adopted a smooth collie puppy.

Very soon after, my wife brought her out to meet me at the course.

Since then she got her very own disc which she loves chasing around the yard.
