In this part of the country Ultimate has almost zero presence. The city I live in now has 3 colleges and only one casually organized (ie. facebook group) club.

Our disc golf scene is small... but it definitely seems to be more popular than ultimate. Especially with the 'casual chucker' type.

Sure, but be aware that there are a lot of ultimate groups that don't really advertise. I know of several in my area that play every single week but you'd never find them on Facebook or anywhere else on the internet. If you accidentally ran into them at the park they'll put you on their email list, otherwise you wouldn't know they were there.
