I've been practicing those lines...I'm apparently a master. I usually really show this skill on hole #17 at flip.

Lol. It is true that this site has been an awesome find. I still don't have my form down anywhere close to where its supposed to be but I would have quit last year without being on here.

Playing a little nothing monthly about 8 years ago and was down 4 to start the 2nd round. With 2 holes left, I tied it up.

Hole 17 was a super easy hole that I probably will birdie 8 / 10 - well, I missed it and the guy birdied it.

Hole 18 is about 250 straight ahead. It's pretty much a wide open hole except theres a gap off the tee - the gap makes you throw a straight shot.

Guy parks it. I say "well, guess I need to ace this."

Knowing that I threw my X wasp on the hole about 75% to park it, I threw it right at 85% - pretending the hole was about 270 and boom. Dead center to tie him.

It was pretty wild.

Lost the playoff. Such is life.

mine was an ace too, but nothing that quite so amazing as that.

it was league, we were at kenwood trails and it was our last opportunity to hit the ace pot. i had called it at the beginning of the round, said i could feel it. hit chains on hole 1 with the opto pure, hit the post on hole 4 with my summit. finally we got to hole 10. we had started our round on hole 12 and hole 11 is not remotely an ace hole. same mentality: well, i guess i have to ace this one.

we played blue tees - basket is straight in front of the tee in the woods. just a gentle little hyzer out to the right with the summit that flipped up almost flat and drifted back left perfectly into the chains.
