My buddy has an element in some opaque champion-esque plastic. It flies great, feels great, and the plastic is great.

Have to dig this one out...
How do the Karma and Scout do in windy conditions? I like to drive midranges but we have a lot of wind here. How do they compare to a (ESP) Buzzz in that case? Or to a Warship?

The Karma is much better in the wind than the scout. The scout flies similarly to a buzzz and is just as flakey in the wind as a buzzz(even the esp). The Karma will take on a pretty good headwind and still not turn and burn. I played in some pretty windy conditions this past Sunday (variable 20-35 mph) and the karma held straight on 300 ft holes that were into a headwind.

I agree, with spike^.
I keep both in my bag. The scout is a straight flyer with a late fade. Get it in wind and it will get squirly. It reminds me a lot of a longer shark. I usually use it for tunnel shots or forehand. The scout is buzzish.

The karma is beefier, but not a meathook. I would get it in E if you want a wind fighter. I use it when I want to power a mid up and keep it left. Where my element would normally flip a bit or drift to far right before coming back.

Even better is the warrior. It different than the other gateway mids in feel, but it can handle power and wind.

Yep, while Innova kept trying to make discs that fall between the Roc and the Gator I have yet to see one. The Warrior is about as close as you will get to a mid that falls right between those two in stability.
