What do you like/dislike about your current bag?: Not a whole lot of consistency
Specific areas of desired feedback:want to learn a consistent and effective backhand
Immediate and long-term goals: I'd like to have more consistency in the short-term, and gain some additional distance in the long-term

You have a lot of high speed drivers for someone with only 6 months of experience. I'm guessing they all follow a similar path because you probably don't quite have the power for them. I'd stick with the fairways for a while, concentrate on form. Simple is good when your goal is to be more consistent.

Ok now i can put my 2 cents in
It looks like you are happy with your fairway, mids, and putters and just cant decide which distance drivers you want. Try sticking with 1-2 to focus on and leave the rest at home (my votes for the beast and the blizz katana).
Also it looks like your using your boss as an overstable mid, I recommend putting an overstable disc at a lower speed for this spot. Since it looks like you enjoy innova discs try one of these for that overstable spot in your bag: Firebird, Banshee, Gator, Pig

Agreed. If you must keep a distance driver, my vote goes for the Beast.

You also lack an overstable mid. Since you already have a Roc, get a new Roc and start cycling them until you have three always in the bag - fresh (overstable/meathook), seasoned (stable/straight), beat (understable/flippy). Get accustomed to throwing these (and your putter) off the tee and those benefits will translate into more accuracy and distance when you move to the fairways and later distance drivers.

Bench the Boss, both Teedevils, and the Katana. Burn the Groove



Rock those 5 molds (Beast, Teebird, Leopard, Roc, Aviar) for a while. Once one (or more) of them get too beat up, but the same disc as a more stable compliment. Otherwise, no need to expand past your 5 discs until you really get the hang of them. It's sure as hell tempting to buy up every disc on the market and try them out, but until you can really learn to manipulate a few it's a waste of money, time, and effort to go all trigger happy.

Thanks for the advice guys. Yeah when I 1st started out I was buying up drivers left and right. I've actually been looking for another Roc, preferrably one in a different mold. What the differneces in like San Marino, Rancho, ect. It took me a little getting used to the R-Pro Roc with the grippier feel, but now that thing is freaking amazing!

You could literally pull every driver you have, get backups for the teebird, leo, roc and aviar and be set for the next year. Those four molds will be perfect until you hit 350' and learn to shape lines.

I picked up a 172 DX Roc and 172 Star Rancho Roc as well as a Yeti Pro Avair this weekend. Played a round using these as well as my other mids and putter and the Teebird, Leo, and Beast and it was pretty nice to dumb it down a bit!
