Um, he's 6 years younger than me.
Thought the same thing too. I had the same reaction as well. The father is only five years younger than me though.

This thread reminded me of when I took my father to the course for the first time last year. (He's an avid golfer which keeps him in great shape.) I gave him a mako. He played pretty well for being 70. The thing that stands out in my mind was his reaction about halfway through the round: he asks "How do you play this game in a jungle?"

heh I will turn 37 in August and just started playing last year. Keep these crazy kids off my lawn! *snicker* My 5 and 7 1/2 yr old daughters make me feel old some days, but my oldest has her own Purple Aviar and a DX Leopard I bought her. Was just going to stick w/the Aviar for a bit, but I found a 149 Leopard. I'm enjoying throwing it too heh.

I helped teach a friend of mine how to play last weekend down in Knoxville. She bought the Discraft starter set and enjoyed her Soft Magnet, Buzzz and Cyclone. If she sticks with it I will recommend a few more discs to her and she knows where the store is to get more discs and a bag
