A friend owns it now, but he may have sold it recently, coincidentally. But not for $1200 :/

And sometimes beauty, in the eye of the beholder, can be money well spent.
Gimme the $20 hooker with the festering pus filled blisters on the end.

Facebook Disc Auctions

I know there is a lot of activity surrounding all the disc auction/exchange pages on Facebook lately. Thought this could be a good place to discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly that occurs.

Personally, I know that I have sold quite a few discs on there, some at eye-watering prices. I've also scored some incredible deals including 11x CAL Teebirds for under $20.

On a negative note, I've seen a number of people get scammed and ripped off there. There also seems to be a fair amount of drama surrounding the pages, and buyers/sellers. I know that one of the admins of the "Innova only" auction page has had some pretty shady dealings. So much so that they created their own feeback page so that they can filter out the negatives regarding said admin.

What are your experiences?

Jeremy Stobaugh is the "admin" of the innova only auction thing. he is an absolute scum bag. he has been banned from nearly every online community that he has been a part of. he is a disc diver, he never calls inked discs and is generally a gigantic douche.
'nuff said..

on the other hand. I hear the "disc golf throwers exchange" is pretty bitchin'

I have no Facebook, but even if I did I would not do business through that site. There is not enough regulation to offer any bit of safety.
