I don't quite agree. Yes, Climo was as dominant as Nicklaus, but to me he's an earlier figure in the history of the sport. More in the generation analogous to Bobby Jones, Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, etc. I like to think of him as the Babe Ruth of disc golf.

Barsby is the Chi Chi Rodriguez of the PDGA

Edit: I can't believe I was beat to the punch on Chi Chi. He was classic. I could totally see Barsby doing the toreador dance with a stool against the basket.

I always thought Ricky Fowler and Devan Owens were similar. As to the Champ, I agree, disc golf is a younger game so he's more like an older school guy like Jones or Hogan. Which puts Barry in as someone like Arnold Palmer and Nate in as Jack Nicklaus. The younger set of kids will take a while to settle out. McBeast, Schusterick and Wysocki. Hrm... no particular connection but we could see this being like Tiger, Rory and Padraig.
