I keep my wrist slightly bent, no wrapping. If the target line is 12 o'clock, I keep my grip about 9 o'clock until the power zone and the rip happens around 4-5 o'clock.

This should help you understand about clearing the hips back and not spinning out.

Crush slower

First of all, these guys give the best advice in the game.
The one thing I think gets left off for so many young players is a mention of the speed through the entire throw. I used to have a very fast motion like you do, it was the cause of much heartache. I sought high and low for tips which would fix my throw. Finally I came upon a random stranger who gave me the best advice I've ever been given (since the fan grip of course). SLOW DOWN!
You're whole motion is -3seconds. From the first sway of your x-step to your release. It should be minimum one more second.
You will benefit from this extra second (or two) in two ways: first, you will only accelerate through the HIT. Its not about being fast with youre feet, its about getting in position and hitting. Second, after all your time practicing that fast, going slower will seem very, very slow. You will notice that you can concentrate on the finer movements, like aim, angle, weight transfer, etc.
Think about all the public speaking advice you've ever been given. When you speak at the right speed it should feel awkwardly slow. When you go through your motions at the right speed it will feel awkwardly slow. Try counting to five from your first movement to your release. It might just work.
Also, these guys are dead on about all the other technical aspects of your throw. Try slowing down and maybe you can make the adjustments they recommend a little easier.

Thanks again for all the tips and advice guys!

I was finally able to go out and played about 90 holes this weekend, and it took a long while to get adjusted. But by about hole 55-60 it started becoming more fluid. for the first time after a long day my arm was not the least bit tired and I saw my discs going straighter with more true flight characteristics. One shot I manager to throw the most beautiful shot with a Comet around 300 straight with a little right fade and it just hover straight down.

Waking up today, my shoulder was sore from pulling the disc through with my shoulder instead of starting with my elbow. The distance was pretty good, a 300 ball park with mids and parked a few 370-380 holes with my drivers. I'm sure the distance will come. I'm focusing on so many things I may forget to snap on one, or forget to bring it to my chest once etc.

I will also try to slow it down, I have already significantly slowed it down from how I was. Now I have to start cleaning up my flick. I don't really flick it, I just whip it. It works, but I feel I could get more out of my flick because I hardly snap and am pushing them out around 320-330.
