If you really want a broader selection of plastic samples in a beginner bag, you may want to put a Finnish/Swedish disc or two in there. Or maybe some MVP.

Also I would never encourage masking flaws at any stage of development.
I had imagined a bag of goodies that would have various plastics and molds from other companies, but the problem comes from finding reliable, beginner friendly discs from them. I have several Lat 64, MVP and Westside discs in my "extras bag" and I plan to let them try out the various plastics to show them different feels, but I'm still open to (and actively trying to find more info on) the idea of having other makers in the bag, but I need more input on beginner friendly discs from them.

Control Driver
Valkyrie or JLS
Teebird

Midrange
Buzzz
Classic Roc

Putter
Soft Challenger
Soft Wizard

No distance drivers. Give them some options. Except distance drivers will only hurt their game.

Tried editing and failed...

MISREAD THE ENTIRE THREAD.

Beginner bag shouldn't include too much. Give them a few discs to try but not too much to give them the "oh that disc didn't work but the next one might"

3 discs out of each I'd put in the bag.

Distance Driver
Champion Archon
Z Avenger SS (best driver for me as a beginner)
DX Orc

Fairway Driver
Champ Teebird
ESP Cyclone
DX Gazelle (or Leopard)

Mid-Range
Z Buzzz (be weary about this, it can hide form and will lead to not wanting to use midranges)
KC Pro Roc (treat em right )
Comet or Wasp (Both would be cool if you didn't bring a buzzz)
Tournament Warship would be a great add for that Swedish feel.

Putter
Wizard
Aviar (softer plastic the better)
Opto Pure or Z Challenger.

Just pick 1 or 2 from each and you'll be set. Do not hesitate to throw in some DX plastic, gotta show them what's up.

I think the beginner bag should be kept to technique friendly, easy distance discs. Once they're hooked then things like the Comet are a good choice. What you want is for the beginner to enjoy the round not get wrapped around the axle with the intricacies of form. A Buzzz gets instant results, maybe not great results, but it goes pretty much where you put it without the aggravation of the Comet. Same holds for the Leopard. Easy to throw. Not complicated & technical.

Aviar, Buzzz, TL. Tell them when to choose which and why.

For the record, I think the TL having a little too much fade for them at the beginning is helpful because it teaches them why they should throw the buzzz.
