Codorus State Park - Hanover PA

Anyone play this course?

I'm heading up to Hanover to pick up an arcade machine (I AM SO EXCITE) and i figured I should check for courses.

Saw this one as a huge course with a nice 3.7+rating so I thought we'd make a day of it.

Any tips for me? Is there a disc golf shop near by? My friend who is going would like to grab some plastic if so.

thanks!

No shops, but there's a few (maybe 2) local guys that sell plastic. Course is huge- lots of golf. And a mini course as well. I prefer the X and CC holes, they are the newest nines added to the original Blue and Red layouts respectively. Depending on time of day that you're playing it is typically pretty easy to find a local to play with. Tonight is the last night of the Local PDGA league as well, they typically play a mixed layout. I suggest hitting someone up on here https://www.facebook.com/groups/233382676767743/ if you're looking for a guide or someone to play with. I've honestly never found or seen a map, although I'm told they're out there- I've played a few hundred rounds out there. Tee signs are nonexistent, but most of the holes are pretty straightforward and have "Next Tee" arrows on the baskets.

Great course to play, can easily make a day of it. Depending what time you play drive down to the marina and they have a rack of innova discs for sale.

were leaving here around 6, putting us on the first tee around 930a i'd say after we stop for gas breakfast all that.

have to be to the arcade between 2-3p, it's 10 minutes from the course.

So the plan is to play a full round the hit up a brewery for lunch. That's the other staple of our trips, going to a local brew/pub.

Suggestions for that?

FYI Troegs is in Hershey, PA now. It's actually in the shadow of Hersheypark.
