Yeah that red area is Helsinki and its surroundings. DG is really big in the western part of the country too. I really hope more courses get built within biking distance/public transportation in Helsinki, in summer time two of the nicest courses are just so full of players you have to wait on every hole for ten minutes. Too many players, not enough courses. It's getting worse already now that the spring is here and people are getting out more to play. Fortunately some of my friends have a car so we can get out of town to play on the less crowded courses too.

Great course, but get there early or late to avoid other park patrons. I was in A'Dam for a couple of weeks and wasn't able to play until the last day, which of course featured 30 mph wind gusts all day long. If it's windy plan on losing a disc, but who cares? Take tram 14 to the end and enjoy!

I live in Germany, but I'm an American citizen. Not sure if that matters.

Disc Golf is big in Finland. It's taken very seriously and a majority of the courses are incredibly challenging. Jussi and co. have a lot of support here. It also helps that the sports mentality in the "parks" of Finland feeds right into the disc golf lifestyle. It's glorious to see so many great courses going in.

In Germany, many of the cities have laws about using the "parks" for sports. It's next to impossible to get a course put in. So any time you see one pop up in Germany it was a hard fought battle by somebody.

I would like to see more courses in Italy and Spain. The courses in Finland and Sweden are amazing and with the summer having almost 24 hours of light you get a lot of playing time. Sadly, it's a short season and the winter is long and cold and dark. So more Italy and Spain!!!

This is awesome. I had no idea this existed. I guess I'll need to bite the bullet and join the PDGA first, though.

That blob in Switzerland is in Zurich...I think I hit all the courses there when I went there a couple years ago. They're not super...you can check out my reviews and pics if you want. About half are just practice areas with baskets and no course.
