My goal this year is to use my business events to promote disc golf as possible. I've got a festival this summer that my brewery is sponsoring to give a free booth to the local DG shop. They can set up putting games and sell discs. I think we are going to put up a map showing all Massachusetts or even all New England courses so people will realize there are local places they can go play.

Dayton has really built up their golf scene over the years. I have to get back to Buck Creek this year. It's just outside of Dayton but one of the local club's courses.
Thanks for the reminder. Played Buck Creek last summer for the first time. Definitely worth the trek from CBus. Liked it a lot more than Handyman.

Disc golf is growing in Dayton!

Out of the 60 project ideas submitted, 28 were presented at the Summit. Three were voted to the top as the new Action Plan Projects that will each receive $1,000 seed money, as well as administrative support from UpDayton.
.....
The second wining project idea, presented by Bobby Walker at the Five Rivers MetroParks session, suggested building a disc golf course by the riverfront to attract activity to the area, promote physical activity among residents, and bolster Dayton’s reputation as the “Outdoor Adventure Capital of the Midwest.”
