The number of chuckers, tools, morons, casuals and other course clogging individuals has definitely increased around here.

Chuckers, tools, morons, course cloggers...pretty much all the same thing.

And this is why "growth" isn't always good.

I've noticed a "growth" in litter as well. So I mean, there's definitely more course traffic.

For what it's worth, asking if disc golf is growing won't make many people made.

The threads that blow up tend to be:

---Let's grow disc golf until it reaches the Bigtime!
---So-and-so is stopping disc golf from reaching the Bigtime!
---I don't want disc golf to grow!

Amen. If you don't like the topic, don't read it. Better yet....don't respond.

To the OP, despite all it's benefits and usefulness, DGCR has many, many elitist players who've been around a while and think that because the question or topic was asked or discussed in another thread that it's their job to poo-poo the current one and make the thread's original poster feel like a douche for bringing it up.....like a few tried to do here to you. Such is the nature of the Interwebs. Don't let them get you down. Ask all the questions and start all the threads you want. They're going to hate on someone else if they brow-beat you into not posting, so you might as well get the question/topic off your chest and ignore the know-it-all, holier-than-thou "supergolfers" and "uberposters."

As for your original question, yes....it's growing. The best way I've found to contribute to that growth is to tell people about it and offer to show them how much fun it is. Show them proper form so they throw discs more accurately. And be patient! Remember that not everything that's interesting to you will put a fire in someone else's belly unless they find that spark themselves.

Best of luck to you.....and welcome aboard!
