I remember it happening a few times last year but they are rare for me. I have a lot of confidence in my putting and since I hit almost all from 20' my comfortable landing zone is a 40' diameter circle.

This past weekend, as an indication: twice in a day. Both times on the exact same hole. From the same spot 20 feet short on a 400+ foot downhill hole - blow by to 20 feet below the basket both times, both times on a putt that gets carry on the wind slightly high. Both times the comebacker uphill crashes center basket. Both times dropping in sheepishly.

I actually missed every single putt I took on the Spider baskets. Three holes each round, two rounds. The 2 airballs on the first hole, along with the two cage hits. The second of the holes? One drop-in deuce, and one cage hit from 20. The third of the holes? Two cage hits from 25. The bright yellow cages worked me like the bogey bars used to on the Innova baskets back in the day, apparently. Haha.

I never three putt any more. I lay up from outside 30' and take the two putt vs. having a long comeback putt for my second and risk three putting or worse.

Not horribly often. It usually happens if I try to run the basket and go wide, or take a ridiculous skip off the basket rim.

not often unless there's a roll involved. that being said, I miss far too frequently. if the question was "how often do you two putt?" then my answer would be about 16 times a round

I 3 putted today and thought of this thread right away. It was rough.....I was uphill, shooting a little down and it was on top of a hill, windy. I aimed directly at the basket, low, and snapped it off....it lifted immediately, went about 1-2 ft over the top and kept going about 20 ft. Missed the return putt as it chained out. I went from a fairly easy shot for 2 to a boug

Slang for bogie. "Boug" is its phonetic pronunciation; you wouldn't pronounce it "bog".

Not very often - but its because I'm chicken and lay up probably more often than I should.
