9 in TN, 11 in SC. I live in NC, so no big woop, really.

What's messed up, though, is I'm realizing I've never played a course in VA...?

Don't really mean to thread jack here, but the original question got me thinking how many of us course baggers pick up states on trips just for the sake of the states played achievement?
My response to the original question was 42 courses in KY, but I'm a little ashamed to admit that I've got 10 states with only one course played.

I bagged NM and TX a couple years back on a cross country drive back home after a year living on the west coast. other than those 2, I usually grab a couple/few courses while on vacation somewhere.

I haven't done so yet. But I have some plans in which I would do this. If I get out to Pensacola I will probably cross the border to play on in bama.

And if I drive up north I'd likely play one course each in MD de nj and pa. If I'm going to play 3-4 courses that day, they might as well be in different states

I do it whenever possible. All my trips since I've been throwing haven't allowed me to take a day or two to go throw...I've really had to squeeze in time to even get one course. I take it as a challenge to figure out how/when I'll be able to throw. I'll be grabbing a course in MA in June, and trying to figure out how to get to bradharris's neck of the woods to bag NH. Might have to rent a car for a day.
