Freeman lake is my favorite local course that i get to play often...played idlewild for the first time last week and loved it also...i usually play iroquois and vettiner often as well and i really like both...

Go with the 3rd route. There is so much great disc golf on the I-65 corridor (from Louisville to Nashville)..

If you are going to for Idlewild, you MUST play Banklick. I would also recommend Mt Airy in Cincy.

Other great courses as you go south down I-65:
Vettiner in Louisville
Freeman Lake in Elizabethtown
Keriakas, Lovers Lane, Hobson in Bowling Green
Cedar Hill, Seven Oaks in Nashville

If you come close to Michigan it would be worth your time to play some courses here!!
