I was just thinking about this yesterday! I would do it if my area had a tram system!

There are still hobos around? I thought they were just homeless or bums.

Winona Minnesota has two courses within an easy walk to the Amtrak station. Conveniently located between the Twin Cities and Chicago, and with a full pro shop also within walking distance, we offer everything you need for a rail-based DG getaway /* End chamber of commerce spiel.

I took the train from KC to St Louis for the ST Louis Open. And I have taken the train pretty extensively in Europe to play, mostly in Sweden and Finland.

I've taken the T-Bana (subway) to a DG course in Sweden recently (Jarva disc golf park) does that count?

It was only a ~15 minute walk after that though.

If they ride the rails, they're hobos.

I've done this too!

When I was studying abroad in Europe, I used to take trains to courses all the time.

When I was working in Manhattan a couple of tears ago, I took NJ Transit to play a couple of tournaments at Rutgers and a tournament at Tyler State Park. I also took Amtrak to Hartford to play Wickham and several times I took Metro North to FDR State Park and Leonard Park in Mt. Kisco, NY.
