I assume he means 2nd runs fly nothing like 3rd, 4th, and Eclispse™.

Which is your opinion. Some people like the new candy plastic. I however am in the same boat as you. 3rd runs are my favorite, followed by the 2nd.

I don't see what's so bad about the newer style plastic. They both grip just as well and fly the same if we're talking 3rd runs and newer. If you miss the stability of the 2nd runs I could understand that but the plastic change seems like a non-issue aside from aesthetics.

Yup, those are the ****. I got one in the bag, beat to hell, great understable disc, nice on hyzerflip to anny drives and lid-like putt shots.

I have a second run that's beat to a pulp that is just like this. My go to upshot disc.

I feel that the overmold is more slick in the 4th runs than the 3rd and 2nd, where as the 2nd and 3rd feel a lot softer.

I've got three 1st runs, two in the bag and one in the closet.
My prototype glow #10 of 10 should be arriving in the mail today or tomorrow

I think the candy plastic is a huge upgrade. A 1000x easier to see, and it feels grippier to me. Still would like to see a beadless or microbead Ion to have the stability of those early mismolded runs.

Hmm, my overmolds all feel the same.

I think a beadless Ion would be neat.
