WOOHOO I got another 5 on the way from Brad, that's what u spend birthday money on, more discs that I don't need but really want. All 173g, couple soft, couple med, yellow, white and blue.
Hey what do you guys think will help more for an Ion anny, 15' around an obstacle: Do you think softer plastic will make a bigger difference than a couple of grams of weight? I was thinking of getting a backup for my 171 S but I'm hopin the 173 S will do it, and I really want to run with one weight.

What will really make a difference on an Ion's stability is the size of the bead. MVP's quality control has gotten really good as of late, so it is hard to find anything but their intended bead size. The bead size varies more in the earlier runs, with 2nd run softs having the most. 1st run mediums were a lot better and after that it became really hard to find small size beads.

So...basically you would be looking for a 173g 2nd run soft with a small/hidden bead.

I've got 3 of the first runs, 165, two have really low overmolds and the difference in stabilty is notable compared to my "normal" one. MVP should just make this a feature :-)
10 grams weight diference to my other mediums makes even more of a difference, though. The first runs are beautiful for high, soft anhyzer upshots, long putts etc. Basically more of a touch disc than heavy mediums.

A little extra snap = ching. I use a soft 173 for this. I've done it up to ~75'... once or thrice. One of my favorite putts to step up to.

Hey Chad, I've seen all the primary colors, as well as the white and black IONs, but I was wondering if you have run any unusual colors ?

Theres been a handful of unique ones made. Ive had some come out with some pretty sweet looking swirls as sometimes a few colors would mix in a unique way. This happens often when white mixes with another color. Some of my favorites have been some sky blue and white swirls.

What other colors would you all like to see next?

Yep!, we will still continue to sell blank discs to those who prefer blanks for looks/dyeing/etc.
