I don't think it's available yet. According to FDM:
"The release date is scheduled for late November/early December, in time for Christmas 2008."

But it looks like they are still taking pre-orders. With their track record, it probably won't be ready until next Christmas

The newest advertisement from Flying Disc Magazine on YouTube says "Copies are getting packaged at the duplicator now, will be on trucks shortly." (this quote was posted on 12/23)

Basically the DVD is 50 minutes with at least 40 minutes of filler. It says that the DVD is for beginning players and those who would like to improve their game. I assumed I would fit into the group that would like to improve his game. The Discraft Utube videos are 1000 times better.

A little more detail.
I had won a 45 dollar voucher in a tournament and saw a couple of discs I liked but was looking for something to finish out the voucher. Being that I respect the design of Tom Monroe's courses, I was willing to overlook the amateurish presentation of Tom Monroe's Disc Golf 101. First the DVDs cover insert is visibly perforated glued paper. The back insert is a text only green paper that does not even cover the whole back. The DVD itself has one of those cd stickers over what appears to be on a DVDR, But you cannot judge a DVD by its cover, right?

The DVD starts with a Sweet Home Alabama montage.
He then explains the very basic differences between drivers, mids, putters, and minis.
He then allows a lot of ultimate players to talk about what kind of teacher he is, but they NEVER say anything specific. For example they say when they started they could not keep it low but never say why they had this issue or how they corrected the issue.
He explains the backhand ignoring footwork or nose angle. He very briefly mentions grip.
Same thing with "sidearm" not specifics.
Then you get a filler montage of some people looking at discs in a truck.
Then more Ultimate players with no specific info to give.

I just expected more from a person that I have heard is the best Disc Golf instructor it the US.
